Founded in 2006, Daniel Statham Architects is an innovative architecture design and research practice focus on creating unique, futuristic design that breaking traditional boarder with attention to the humanity well-being, environment and culture.
An experienced and professional team from different culture was formed in our London and Shanghai offices, delivering projects across Europe, North America and Asia.
Practice provide service including master plan, architecture design, landscape design, interior design and art installation design across different sectors.
Much of his earlier work after graduating from University College London was collaboration with artists Langlands & Bell, Juan Munoz and Marc Quinn from the Art Agent White Cube, in addition to developing innovative techniques in construction with Atelier One.
Professional experience was enhanced further working under Norman Foster in the late 1990’s on projects Chek Lap Kok Airport Hong Kong, Swiss RE Tower London and Fosters’s personal private house in the South of France near St Tropez.
In 2004 Daniel worked alongside the award winning British Product Designers Barber Osgerby to deliver the Stella McCartney Flagship Store, Mayfair, London for Gucci Group under the supervision of Tom Ford. Then in 2007, Daniel delivery the project for the first over sea exhibition of China’s Terracotta Army at the British Museum, London, and officially founded the practice.
In 2006, Daniel founded Daniel Statham Architects in London.
Daniel has tutored and lectured at several design events and schools in London and China, including the Architectural Association, University of the Arts, London Westminster School of Architecture and Tongji University.
